  17. The Playstation contains a MIPS R3000 clocked at 33 MHz, which is about 
  18. as fast as a 486/66. So, in fact, it is as fast as a 68040/33 (if not 
  19. faster). The Ultra 64, which has a MIPS R4300 clocked at 93 MHz will be 
  20. even faster (roughly Pentium performance).
